SIMIA Ring

Handmade silver piece bearing an intricate glume. Alluring on its own, this ring shows off curves that call for stacking. SIMIA, the most delicate one among the Zangar's Orchidaceae, was the first that inspired the design process of this collection. It began with raising a sheet into a shell and pulling it to a wire. Then, with anticlastic sinking, this ring came around. The fabrication feels like the reverse process of growing out of a stem.
