SINESIS Bangle

Handmade in sterling silver, SINESIS began as a piece of citrus rind from a fruit grown in California and peeled in New York. Twisted into a delicate shell, the peel dried into a form that was preserved in a mold and later cast in silver. Each bangle undergoes rounds of forging, shaped by hand into an adornment for the wrist.

Wear SINESIS hammered and matte, with a texture that mirrors the original peel and is further magnified by the strike of the hammer; or opt for milled facets with a subtle shine to complement them. In every form, elements of the original texture remain untouched, revealing the unique, irregular imprint of the human hand—a finish that is never identical twice.

Inspired by Citrus × sinensis, commonly known as the orange, a fruit beloved by humans and other primates alike, this piece celebrates its sweet and universal familiarity. SINESIS marks the origin of Zangar’s CITRUS collection, an homage to the rind’s rugged beauty and enduring simplicity.
